Kaci Havlin, APRN, CNP, provides care with our Family Medicine team and collaborates with John Malcott, MD, at Springfield Clinic Jacksonville.

"I have always had a passion for science, which led me to a career in nursing directly after high school," says Kaci. "After about six years of working as a registered nurse on a surgical floor, I realized I didn't want to lose the patient interaction and decided to become a nurse practitioner."

Kaci was born, raised and currently lives in Roodhouse, Ill. She chose Springfield Clinic because of the high level of professionalism from our providers that she witnessed in her previous positions and as a patient of the Clinic herself. 

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has 15 years of experience in nursing and most recently served as a nurse practitioner at the Medical Associates of Jerseyville in Jerseyville, Ill. 

In her free time, Kaci enjoys taking side-by-side rides, walking, camping and spending time with friends and family.
