Mischaela Aring, APRN, CNP, is a part of the Springfield Clinic Nephrology team and sees patients primarily at Springfield Clinic Jacksonville. She collaborates with Dr. Richa Pandey.

Mischaela earned her Master of Science of Nursing degree from OSF St. Francis College of Nursing in Peoria and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from St. John's College of Nursing in Springfield. She has nearly 10 years of nursing experience in central Illinois.

Mischaela picked nephrology as her specialty due to the unique care opportunities it provides. "I find nephrology interesting because it plays a role in so many diseases," she says. "I knew it was the direction I wanted to take."

Growing up in central Illinois, Mischaela wanted to return and work in her home region and make an impact.

In her free time, Mischaela spends time with her three children and enjoys watching them grow. She looks forward to getting involved with the local Kiwanis organization, as well.
