Leah Hauger, APRN, CNP, sees patients at our Springfield Clinic Decatur Pediatrics location. She collaborates with Dr. Benjamin Brooks.

Leah earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Born and raised in central Illinois, Leah knew she wanted to serve her community and remain close to family. She has always had a great experiences with Springfield Clinic and is excited to be joining the team.

Following in her father's footsteps, Leah joined the army at age 17. After serving in a field hospital, she decided she wanted to pursue a career in army nursing and ultimately found a passion for pediatric primary care.

Leah gives back to the community by participating in events that support the local transplant team, mental health awareness and breast cancer awareness.

Her hobbies include traveling, spending time with her wife and two-year-old twin boys and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.
