Kayla Macke, APRN, CNP, provides care with Springfield Clinic MOHA team.

"I've always had an interest in health care. Working alongside providers helped me make the decision to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner," says Kayla. "I'm most passionate about helping patients heal and making some of their worst days better."

Kayla completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Bradley University in Peoria and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has more than six years of experience in nursing. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she served as a nurse practitioner for the state through Wexford Health Services.

Kayla is a lifelong resident of central Illinois and chose Springfield Clinic because of the high-quality patient care she has received and observed working with Springfield Clinic providers.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places with family.
