Jenna Taft, APRN, DNP, CNP, provides care with our Springfield Clinic Pediatrics team. She collaborates with Dr. Gretchen Gibbs and Dr. Misty Phillips at Springfield Clinic Pediatrics.

She earned both her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. She has more than six years of nursing experience and most recently served as a nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

"I had the privilege of watching both my mom and aunt, both of whom were nurses, provide excellent medical care to my aging grandparents," says Jenna. "With their influence, I knew at a young age that I would go into health care in some capacity."

After starting her nursing education, Jenna quickly fell in love with working in pediatrics and providing care to children.

"I enjoy having a relationship with my patients and their families," Jenna says. "By providing medical care, support and education during times of sickness or preventive care visits, I develop connections and building trust with my patients, which is extremely important to me."

In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
