Christine Lacey, APRN, CNP, is joining our Hospital Medicine team effective Nov. 21, 2022.

"When my son was one, I decided to go back to school, initially, to become a paramedic," Christine says. "I eventually realized that I wanted to work more in a hospital setting and became an ICU nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner."

Christine chose Springfield Clinic because of our reputation to provide high-quality patient-centered health care throughout central Illinois.

She completed her Master of Science in nursing at Bradley University in Peoria. She has more than 10 years of experience in nursing. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she served as a nurse practitioner at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana.

In her free time, Christine loves to watch live sports with her dad. She enjoys spending time with her two kids, cooking and reading. She also has recently started volunteering for Midwest Food Bank.
