About This Provider

Brandon Smith, LPC, sees patients at our Springfield Clinic Main Campus East location.

Brandon earned his Master of Arts degree in human development counseling and his Bachelor of Arts degree in clinical psychology from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Born and raised in Springfield, Brandon finds his work with clients and patients extremely meaningful. "I find it particularly meaningful working with patients experiencing anxiety, substance abuse/addiction and trauma," he says. "I am always honored to be someone's first experience with mental health therapy and to facilitate a space of connection, understanding and hope."

Brandon cites his own experiences with therapy as a "breath of relief" to be seen and understood. "I aspire to offer similar experiences to my patients, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve my community," he says.

Brandon enjoys playing music in his free time, particularly in community theater. You may have seen him play bass at both the Legacy Theatre or the Hoogland Center for the Arts.
