Angelika Bowers, APRN, CNP, collaborates with Dr. Randy Western and Dr. Paul Phillips, seeing patients at our Springfield Clinic Main Campus East location.

Angelika earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Purdue Northwest University in Hammond, Ind., and her undergraduate degree at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Ill. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she served in nursing roles in Illinois for nearly ten years.

Angelika knew she was "drawn to helping others" after watching her mother work in health care. "I always knew from a young age that I wanted to pursue a career in health care," she says. “I am most passionate about working with patients and making them feel comfortable throughout their health care journey,” she says. “I want to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent diseases.”

Angelika moved from Chicago to central Illinois in 2019 to be with her husband. She is excited to begin her nurse practitioner career at Springfield Clinic.

In Angelika’s free time, she likes to spend time with her family and dogs.
