Andrea Bloodworth, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Cardiology team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Main Campus East. She collaborates with Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein.

Andrea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Ill., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing in Springfield, Ill. Andrea has nearly 12 years of serving central Illinois in various nursing roles.

Andrea is grateful to her dad for inspiring her health care career, as his hands-on approach to work and occasional mishaps that required first aid helped sparked her passion for caring for others and led her to pursue nursing.

“Without a doubt I am most passionate about my patients,” Andrea says. She enjoys getting to build lasting connections and relationships with her patients and their families.

Andrea's primary goal is to provide high quality and compassionate cardiovascular care, education and treatment to her patients and treat them as if they were her own family. “I cannot think of a better way to provide this type of care than working at Springfield Clinic, a medical group known for its quality care and positive patient experience.”

She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. As a family, they embrace outdoor activities such as bike rides, taking walks and visiting the park. Andrea takes great pride in watching her children play sports and also enjoys working out, baking and traveling.
