Alisea Hibbs, PA-C, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Family Medicine team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Wabash. She collaborates with Dr. Geoffrey Bland.
Alisea completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale and her undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She has prior experience working in internal medicine in Houston, Texas.
Growing up in Chatham, Ill., Alisea says Springfield Clinic played a significant role in her decision to pursue medicine. She has been a patient of Springfield Clinic providers since childhood, shadowed a physician assistant during her undergraduate studies and later returned to complete a preceptorship at the same clinic during PA school.
“I am most passionate about providing quality patient care and education,” she says. “It’s extremely important to me that patients feel comfortable and informed in their health care, so I prioritize taking the time to discuss results and health plans to make sure patients truly understand and are actively involved in appointments and their health.”
In her free time, she enjoys reading, online shopping and going for walks. She is excited to spend more time with family and friends now that she is back home!
