Welcome, Dr. Mohamad!

Starting August 1, 2022, Springfield Clinic welcomes Ahmad Mohamad, MD, to the Springfield Clinic's Nephrology Department. He will be seeing patients at Springfield Clinic Carpenter.

“I always wanted to be a doctor because I like to help people, make them feel better and enjoy life,” he says.

Dr. Mohamad earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Al Jubeiha, Amman, Jordan, and completed his residency at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He also completed a nephrology fellowship at St. Louis University prior to joining Springfield Clinic.

He cites his appreciation for the area and the kindness of the people he interacts with as a key reason why he is coming to serve patients in central Illinois.
