Springfield Clinic Effingham, located at 300 N. Maple Street, is now offering routine lab services by appointment through a drive-up lab.
Patients in Effingham and the surrounding areas can now make appointments to receive drive-up lab services when they have provider orders. Routine lab orders include those that require fasting. To learn more, call 217.342.4151 and ask to speak with your provider’s office. You can also talk to your provider about scheduling a drive-up lab visit at your next regular appointment.
“I’m so glad patients are going to have access to this service,” says Lisa Kowalski, MD, a general surgeon with Springfield Clinic Effingham. “Drive-up labs are a convenient and safe way to get your routine labs taken care of without ever having to leave your car.”
How does the drive-up lab work?
When you have scheduled an appointment, you can arrive at the Springfield Clinic Effingham drive-up lab location (300 N. Maple Street) at your designated time. You will follow signs to pull into a spot, then call the number on the sign in front of you to register and receive further instructions. You will not be able to receive services if you do not make an appointment ahead of time.
