Stephanie Flier, LCSW, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Behavioral Health team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Effingham.

Stephanie earned her Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University in Aurora, Ill. She has nearly ten years of social work experience prior to joining Springfield Clinic, serving as a case manager, school counselor and school social worker.

Stephanie always knew she would go into a career where she can help people. Early on, she found a passion for 1:1 work with patients. "I am passionate about breaking down the stigmas surrounding mental health, especially in our youth," Stephanie says. "I am a big advocate for self-care and whole-body wellness, and I believe in the power of walking alongside an individual as they experience all that the 'journey to a better you' brings."

When she's not working, she enjoys going on long walks, trying new workout classes, gardening, curling up with a good book and snuggling with her dogs and spending time with her niece and nephew. She also loves to spend a Saturday morning strolling through the Effingham farmers market with a Fox Holler coffee.
