Our Patients Are Saying...

"I can’t say enough positive things about the Springfield Clinic doctors that I saw during my recent health scare. A few weeks ago, at my family’s request, I saw Dr. Venigalla for a breathing problem that was continually
getting worse. She wanted me to go directly to the hospital to be admitted for a few tests. I asked if I could wait until Monday because I didn’t want to miss my grandson’s graduation, but when I looked into her eyes, I could see how genuinely concerned and scared she was for me, so I agreed. Had it not been for her caring demeanor and gentle nudge to get me to go to the hospital, I feel I wouldn’t be here today. Within 3 days of being admitted I had a cardiac cath, was intubated due to respiratory problems and had a triple bypass. I’m told that if it weren’t for Dr. Venigalla and Dr. Yakel’s swift actions, I might not have been around to write this letter. I would like to thank Dr. Yakel and Tasha Schuette for getting everything arranged so quickly due to my critical health issues. I would also like to thank Dr. Venigalla for coming to see me everyday and holding my hand."
